Description
Reternishen is a Yiddish comic book of riddles "to solve and puzzle over," as its subtitle puts it. Three boys, Shimi, Shloimy and Shmuelik, are named on the cover and lead the reader through the brainteasers. It is written by פ. חריף and illustrated by שאול יצחק לעווין.
The cover places the trio around a ramshackle wooden treehouse, one boy in round glasses lifting a finger as if about to pose the next question. A good pick for children who like to think while they read.
