A Novel
It was just a game.
Why did it turn into a war?
Yitz is the best batter in sixth grade, and his best friend Pinny is the best pitcher. Together, they could be unstoppable.
But it's not that simple. Moe and Yo always expect Yitz to play on their team. And the eighth graders don't want to share the field. Then Yitz's sister starts a club, the school goes into lockdown, and Yitz's life is full of curveballs he never anticipated. When Yitz's class is challenged to a game, Yitz is forced to choose. Who's really on his team? Does he have the guts to make the toughest play of his life?
In this page-turning baseball story, Yitz learns about winners and losers, friendship and loyalty- and the right way to play the game.
