Solid teak, twelve inches square, etched with a tree of life drawn in soft curving lines and with Shabbat Shalom lettered in Hebrew alongside it. The etching is set into the wood rather than printed on, and the board is finished with food-safe mineral oil.
It is sized for a full challah and heavy enough to stay put while you cut. Boards like this get used every Friday night and then handed down, which is why it makes such a natural wedding or engagement gift.
