Description
Rabbi Akiva called Shir HaShirim the Holy of Holies, and the difficulty in rendering it is that its surface reading is not its meaning. This edition translates it allegorically, based upon Rashi, with commentary anthologized from Talmudic, Midrashic and Rabbinic sources — the first English translation faithful to the allegory throughout.
Rabbi Meir Zlotowitz prepared it. The personal-size hardcover measures 4 x 6 inches across 224 pages, published December 1997; ISBN 9781578191055.
