Description
This two-volume slipcased set gathers the full Tehillim, with the Talmud Bavli, Yerushalmi and Midrash passages that cite each verse printed right beside it, totaling 860 hardcover pages at 8.63 x 10 inches.
The Oral Torah is based on the Written Torah, and it often cites verses from Tanach. Indeed, verses of Tehillim/Psalms appear thousands of times throughout the Talmuds and Midrashim.
In this unique work, the text of the Oral Torah and an easy-to-follow explanation appear with the verse that was cited in the works of our Sages. Here, we can see what the Oral Torah had to say about the verses, profoundly enriching our understanding of the verses.
Milstein Edition Tehillim with the Teachings of the Talmud includes:• Hebrew text of the Tehillim with a flowing English translation
• Targum, Rashi, Radak, and Metzudos, fully vowelized
• The text of Mishnah, Talmuds Bavli and Yerushalmi, Mesechtos Ketanos, or Midrash that mentions the verse, in the original Hebrew or Aramaic
• An easy-to-read narrative adaptation of the text of the Oral Torah, explaining what the Sages say
