Tempered Glass Tray, Black
Black is the finish to reach for when the menorah itself is the thing you want people looking at. A brass or silvertone menorah standing on black reads sharper than the same menorah on a pale surface, and the flames pick up against the dark rather than washing into it.
It is tempered glass, so it shrugs off the heat of a burning menorah and the knocks of being carried in and out of a closet each Kislev. Oil wipes away with a towel and cooled wax pops off without a fight.
It also earns its keep the rest of the year: a base for Shabbos leichter, a landing spot for a havdalah set, or a tray for a set of kiddush cups.
