The Heights of Hallel Rabbi Avrohom Meir Weiss (Hardcover, ArtScroll)

Our recitation of Hallel grants us some of the most uplifting moments of the Jewish year. The shul fills with song, praise, and gratitude as we proclaim the greatness of Hashem. Yet within these familiar chapters lies a profound depth that many of us have never fully explored.

In The Heights of Hallel, Rabbi Avrohom Meir Weiss opens a new window into this beloved tefillah. With clarity and insight, he reveals the remarkable structure and message woven through the chapters of Tehillim that make up Hallel.

Far from being a simple collection of psalms, Hallel – which we recite forty-five times or more in the course of the year! -- emerges as a carefully ordered spiritual ascent. Each section builds upon the one before it, guiding us from expressions of praise, to recognition of Hashem’s greatness, to reflections on His care for Klal Yisrael throughout history—and ultimately building to a deeply personal relationship with Him.

Enhancing the sefer are numerous insights from the author’s revered grandfather and rebbi, HaGaon HaRav Sholom Reuven Feinstein, shlit”a, whose teachings add depth and perspective throughout the work.

Each pasuk is presented with translation and explanation, demonstrating how it fits into Hallel’s unfolding theme of emunah and bitachon. As the commentary traces the progression of the psalms, readers discover how Hallel leads us step by step toward deeper trust in, and connection to, Hashem.

A special section presents the complete text of Hallel with interlinear translation and concise kavanos drawn from the commentary, making this sefer a meaningful companion for the recitation of Hallel itself.

With warmth, clarity, and deep appreciation for the power of tefillah, The Heights of Hallel enables readers to experience Hallel with greater understanding, deeper intention, and renewed inspiration
