A Novel

What would you do if this year was your last?
(Or at least you thoughtit was.)

It’s a question that torments Dini Saks. Faced with the looming specter of her “imminent” death, she hits upon a plan to do some good in the world with the remainder of her life. But when her dreams of community-building go awry, Dini’s life starts spiraling out of control, threatening to destroy her closest relationships.

How many secrets can one family bear?

Shira Eisen’s family is thrilled about a long-awaited simchah, and she should be over the moon. Unfortunately, something's being hidden - something big. Shira faces the possibility of her family becoming fractured, while she begins to unravel a life-changing secret that her mother has held for decades.

In her inimitable style, Suri Epstein once again delivers a masterpiece of a novel. Packed with drama and humor, The Maybe Last Year (originally serialized in Binah magazine as The Daily Dream) will make you laugh and cry and wish that the book won’t come to an end.
