Two-year-old Pinny is busy playing, but his growing hair keeps falling into his eyes. A clip slips out, and a ponytail holder gets lost. The story follows these small frustrations toward the change awaiting him on his third birthday.
Nechama Sittner’s upsherin picture book is illustrated by Tova Leff. Hachai lists this English hardcover at 32 pages, ages 2–5 and 8.5 × 11 inches. It tells one child’s story rather than serving as a guide to every family’s haircut customs.
