Description
A tree painted freehand runs up the front of this wooden case, with a small bear figure climbing it and wooden bees circling the top. The brushwork is visible up close, which is what keeps it from looking like a printed decal.
At 6 by 3/4 inches it suits a nursery or a child's bedroom doorway, where it does as much work as decoration as it does as a mezuzah case. Each tree is painted one at a time, so the branches and the bees land in different spots from case to case.
