Avos (Hardcover, ArtScroll)

Pirkei Avos (Ethics of the Fathers) is the most widely studied tractate of the Mishnah. Focusing on practical, ethical and moral teachings of the Sages, its chapters contain some of the best known and oft-quoted maxims of Jewish philosophy, as well as an additional chapter on the importance of Torah study. While most other tractates emphasize critical and complex aspects of Jewish law, Pirkei Avos emphasizes the Torah values, relationships, motives, and life-principles taught and practiced by our great Sages.

The Yad Avraham Mishnah Series is unparalleled in providing a blend of scholarly sources and popular language to make the study of Mishnayos comprehensive and memorable.
