Twenty-four candles to the box, made by hand from 100% beeswax, each burning approximately five hours.
Do the arithmetic and this box is roughly three months of Shabbos for someone lighting two candles a week, or a month and change for a family lighting six or seven. Five hours covers Friday night comfortably — candles lit at licht bentchen time are still burning when the table is cleared — without leaving flames going deep into the night.
