Description
The 730 arch worked in gold thread instead of silver. The framed shape and the open field inside it are unchanged; the gold simply warms the black velvet in a way silver does not, and the border reads heavier for it.
Sizes are the 10.5 by 10 inch bar mitzvah bag, the 14 by 14 large talis bag and the 16 by 16 extra large. Choosing between 730 and 733 is entirely a question of metal — if a man's atarah is gold, or if the bag is going with a gold-trimmed siddur, this is the version that belongs. For a boy at his bar mitzvah, gold tends to be the more common gift choice.
An atarah is made in the same 733 design, which means the bag and the neckpiece on the tallis can be ordered to match — one of the few places in this range where that is possible.
