Description
The regal crown design worked in white velvet. Where the black version of #181 is a weekday bag, this one is made for Shabbos and Yom Tov, and the crown embroidery gains considerably from the pale ground — every line of it is visible straight on rather than only when light catches the thread.
It is cut as a large talis bag, 14" x 14", which is the size that matches how a white bag is used. There is no tefillin to accommodate, so a tallis folded in thirds sits in it comfortably with space left for a gartel or a small siddur if you keep one with your tallis.
The #181 crown is also made as a challah cover and a megillah case. Buying the bag and the challah cover together is the usual pairing, and it works well as a chosson and kallah gift precisely because it covers both sides of the house — his bag for shul, her cover for the Shabbos table, in one design.
