Description
Silver thread is worked into a broad symmetrical face across the black velvet on design 750. The pattern spreads wide rather than climbing, filling the width of the bag with a balanced arrangement that mirrors evenly across the centre line.
It comes in the bar mitzvah size at 10.5 by 10 inches, the large talis bag at 14 by 14 and the extra large at 16 by 16. Broad designs sit best on the wider bags, so the 14 and 16 inch sizes show this one to its full effect. That said, the bar mitzvah size is still the right choice for a boy with a single pair of tefillin, and the pattern is scaled rather than cropped.
Prayer booklet covers are made in the same 750 design, which is an easy second piece to add when the bag is a gift.
