Gold thread on black velvet marks Malchut design 858. The embroidery has a clear centre and works outward from it, so the bag has a front that is meant to be seen, and it sits properly on a shtender with the pattern facing the room.
The bag is cut at 10.5 by 10, 14 by 14 or 16 by 16 inches. Those correspond to the bar mitzvah bag, the large talis bag and the extra large.
