Gold embroidery on a black velvet body, catalogued as Malchut design 955. The thread work covers the face with an even hand and there is no fragile detail sitting where it will catch, which matters more than it sounds on a bag that is opened and closed every single morning.
Bar mitzvah, standard 14 by 14 talis and 16 by 16 extra large sizes are all made. A boy takes the 10.5 by 10 and will use it happily for years. A man with a full wool tallis takes the 14 by 14.
