Non-Fitted White Leather Menorah Table Cover with Gold Embroidery (#550)

White leather with gold and light gold embroidery, unfitted, in design #550. It goes over most standard menorah tables without being cut to any particular one, so the table you already light on stays exactly where it is. Gold thread against white is the highest-visibility combination in this design; the pattern is the first thing seen in the room, well before the flames are lit.

White is the Yom Tov colour, and on Chanukah it does something specific. It reflects the light of the menorahs back up rather than absorbing it, so the table itself brightens as the nights go on and more wicks are lit. That is a real difference from the black and brown versions of the same design, not just a matter of taste.

The trade-off is upkeep, and leather is what makes white workable here. Oil and wax come off a leather surface with a cloth in a way they never come off white fabric, so the cover can be brought out the following year looking as it did. Wipe it down before it goes away rather than after.
