Tallis & Tefillin Bag, Custom Design #1242 in Three Sizes

Design #1242 is built to do the basic job well: hold a tallis and a pair of tefillin together, in one bag, without either one being crushed. The face carries Malchut's embroidery across the front, worked into a heavier body than their entry-level bags use, and the construction is square enough that the bag keeps its shape whether it is standing on a shtender or lying in a car.

The three cuts correspond to three real situations. 10.5" x 10", the bar mitzvah size, is for a bochur with new tefillin and a light tallis. 14" x 14", the large talis bag, is what a man with a standard woolen tallis needs. 16" x 16", the extra large, is for a heavy tallis, or for a man who carries a siddur in with everything else and needs the extra room.

If you are buying for a bar mitzvah and want the bag to keep serving him into his twenties, ask what tallis he will be given at his chasunah. Plenty of families buy the smaller bag now and a larger one later, which is fine, but it is worth deciding on purpose.
