Tallis & Tefillin Bag, Leather with Fur, Velvet or Grey Panel, Design #1278

Four finishes on design 1278, and they are not variations on one theme. Black leather with black-and-white fur is the busiest and most textured. Black leather with grey leather keeps everything in hide, no fur at all, for a cleaner and more austere bag. Black leather with black velvet swaps in a smooth dark panel. White leather with brown-and-white fur goes in the opposite direction entirely, a warm, light bag that stands out among the black ones.

Sizes are 10.5" x 10" for bar mitzvah, 14" x 14" for the large talis bag, and 16" x 16" for extra large. A bochur with a first pair of tefillin takes the smallest. A man with a woolen tallis takes one of the two larger cuts, and if the tallis is thick, the 16" x 16" is the one that will not fight him at the zipper.

Given how different the four finishes are, it is worth deciding what the bag is for before choosing. The all-leather version is the daily bag; the white and brown one is the Shabbos bag.
