Description
Three leather-and-fur pairings, each with its own temperature. Black leather with mixed black and white fur is the standard and the most formal. Beige leather with light brown and white fur is the warm version, and it is the one that reads softest. Navy leather with white fur is the sharpest contrast of the three and the least common in a room full of bags.
Design #2058 is made at 10.5 by 10 inches for a bar mitzvah, 14 by 14 for the large talis bag, and 16 by 16 for the extra large. Colour is chosen at ordering along with size, so the combination is built rather than found.
Beige and navy both show handling more than black does, which matters if the bag is going to a bochur who carries it to yeshiva every day. For a man who takes it out on Shabbos and Yom Tov, that is much less of a consideration and the lighter versions are worth the look.
