Description
Design #3934 is Malchut Judaica's travel tallis bag, made for carrying a tallis away from home. It is a specific piece of luggage rather than a second everyday bag, and the reason it exists is that a tallis in an ordinary suitcase arrives creased along lines that take days to hang out.
The situations it earns its keep in are familiar enough: a Shabbos sheva brachos three hours away, a family simcha in another city, a week of Yom Tov at your in-laws. In each case the tallis needs to travel folded, arrive uncreased and be findable in thirty seconds when you are already running late for shul. Keeping it in a bag of its own inside the case handles all three.
It is also worth having for a bochur going to yeshiva out of town, who will be moving between home and dormitory several times a year with a tallis that nobody at home is going to be pressing for him.
