Description
Design 1360 is black leather, plain-faced, with nothing added on top of it — no second colour, no pattern pressed into the body. It is a different cut from the other undecorated leather tubes in the range, and the choice among them comes down to which body you prefer in hand.
The case is made at 17.7 inches and at 14 inches. Order by the scroll: a standard megillah needs the long tube and a shorter one is better held in the 14. The personalized snap-on handle comes with the case and can be taken off, which is the difference between carrying a tube like a case and carrying it cradled in one arm the whole way.
1360 is also produced as a tallis and tefillin bag, so a man who wants one leather running through his pieces can order the bag in the same number. That is the usual reason people choose a design rather than an unnumbered case.
