Reb Baruch Mordche Yisroel Besser (Hardcover, ArtScroll)

From the bomb shelters of Yerushalayim to its batei midrash, Reb Baruch Mordechai Ezrachi, talmid of Yeshivas Chevron and founder of Yeshivas Ateres Yisrael, used Torah to restore courage, clarity, and joy. One of the most electrifying Torah figures of his generation, he infused learning with a vitality that awakened potential and lifted spirits.

But this book is more than a chronicle of the past. It is a powerful call to reclaim the grandeur of Slabodka. Reb Baruch Mordechai believed passionately in growth — not abstract greatness, but the daily work of becoming more alive, more engaged, more oneself. He challenged those around him to live each day anew, to refuse spiritual complacency, and to discover the joy that comes from sincere striving. Through his life and teachings, as well as the quiet strength of his Rebbetzin, readers are invited to remember who they are and the strength they carry inside.

Reb Baruch Mordechai’s life was devoted to uplifting and inspiring Klal Yisrael, showing them the greatness that lies within each Jew. This book, written by one of the Torah world’s most popular biographers, proudly carries on that mission.
