Description
Shabbos with Our Chocolate Moose is a Shabbos picture book by Rabbi Akiva Males, illustrated by Glenn Zimmer. When Akiva was a boy, his favorite stuffed animal was not a teddy bear but a moose his mother sewed by hand. Out of all the animals in the world, why a moose? The answer has everything to do with the family's Shabbos table.
Told as a grown-up's memory of growing up, the story is funny, warm and full of family love, with a twist that young listeners will enjoy figuring out. The large, expressive illustrations make it a cheerful read-aloud for ages 3 to 5, and a fun one to share right before Shabbos dessert.
