Description
In Eastern Europe, the Jews who survived World War II were poor, homeless, and frightened. Who would help them rebuild their lives and start anew?
Rav Yekusiel Yehudah Halberstam, the Klausenberger Rebbe, was a learned, holy, and dedicated leader who survived the concentration camps and a death march. He helped countless survivors rebuild their lives in Europe and in the United States. Later, he founded educational institutions in both the United States and Israel. He devoted himself to orphans and lonely people.
The Klausenberger Rebbe created schools, communities, and even a hospital. He spent his days and nights assisting others and spreading Torah throughout the world.
This is his story. It’s the story of a man who rebuilt the Jewish world.
