Description
The Man at the Wall is a young readers biography by Carol Ungar about Rav Meir Schuster. As a boy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Meir was so shy that he barely spoke, at home, at school or on the playground, but he poured his heart into his tefillos. With encouragement from his Bubby Gittel he went on to learn in yeshivah, became a rabbi and moved to Jerusalem.
At the Kosel he saw so many young Jews who knew little about their heritage, and he wanted to bring them to yeshivos. What if he said the wrong thing, or they turned him down? This leveled reader shows how a quiet man who would not take no for an answer changed countless lives, with detailed black and white illustrations throughout.
