This is the floral design of the 780s worked in silver thread instead of gold. On black velvet the silver reads cooler and slightly sharper, and the curves stand out with less warmth than the gold version, which suits a buyer who finds gold embroidery too much. The pattern itself is unchanged; only the thread tone moves.
Sizes run from the 10.5 by 10 bar mitzvah bag through the 14 by 14 large talis bag to the 16 by 16 extra large. A bochur getting tefillin will manage with the smallest; a man with a full wool tallis wants at least the 14 by 14, and the 16 by 16 is there for the tallis that never folds down small.
