Geometric Panel Challah Cover with Sterling Crystals #920

Banded panels run edge to edge on 920, one geometric block set against the next, with sterling crystals placed along the divisions between them. The pattern is stitched right out to the borders rather than being centred and left to float, so the whole face is worked and there is no empty ground anywhere on it. It is the boldest of the three geometric numbers Malchut makes.

Small measures 14.5 by 17.5, medium 15.5 by 19.5 and large 19.5 by 23.5. An edge-to-edge design rewards the large cut, where the bands have room to repeat properly across the width. On the small the same pattern reads tighter and denser, which some people prefer and others find crowded — worth picturing on your own table before ordering.
