Velvet Tefillin & Tallis Bag, Crown with Branch Embroidery #123

A crown with a slender branch running beside it is the design on this bag — keser and branch together, embroidered on velvet. The branch is the fine part of the work; it keeps the crown from sitting heavily on the panel and gives the design a line to follow rather than a single central mass.

The velvet is made in black and navy across all sizes, with maroon, hunter green and royal blue available in the matching tefillin bag size only; royal blue is worked in silver. Sizes are the matching tefillin bag at 8.5 x 9.5, the bar mitzvah bag at 9.5 x 9.5, the medium talis bag at 12.5 x 11.5, the large at 14 x 14 and the extra large at 16 x 16. The medium size is useful for a bochur who has outgrown a bar mitzvah bag but is not yet carrying a full tallis.

Choose the thread as primarily gold with some silver, or primarily silver with some gold, depending on which way you want the crown to read.
