A Novel

The sky darkened, the hours passed, and the clearing grew quieter and quieter. A rustle sounded from between the trees.

“Mr. K.?” Four of the guides stepped out into the clearing. “We’ve searched the forest, all the trails. I’m afraid that the boys you’ve described are nowhere to be found.”

Elchanan Stark and Avi Shine have nothing in common.

Well, okay, maybe a couple of things.

They’re classmates. They’re leaders. And they both really, really don’t like each other.

But when the two boys suddenly find themselves embroiled in dangerous adventure, they are forced to depend on each other…for their very survival.

Will Avi and Elchanan manage to escape the clutches of their threatening captors? Will the search party, which includes the boys’ own fathers, unwittingly meet up with the terrible gang?

Will the boys make it out of the forest…before the danger lurking between the trees catches up with them?
