Description
A fruit design runs down the left-hand sidebar, framed by a fine silver border, on a 64-page paperback measuring 4.5 by 6.5 inches. It is a lighter and brighter cover than the marble and mahogany faces that fill out most of this range, which is part of why it ends up on children's tables and at kiddushes as often as it does.
It is printed in one version only: nusach meshulav, with Ashkenaz and Edut Mizrach set together in the same booklet. At a table with mixed guests that solves a real problem, since one booklet serves everybody and nobody gets handed the wrong nusach. Inside it runs from hadlakas ner Shabbos and kiddush through the zemiros for Friday night and Shabbos day, birchas hamazon, seder havdalah, and a tefillah said on motzei Shabbos.
Booklets at this weight get bought by the dozen rather than singly, and this one seats properly in a zemiros holder, which is how most people keep a set standing at the head of the table instead of stacked in a drawer between weeks.
