Description
Gelt Game (געלט) is a Yiddish board game about earning and sharing money, as its subtitle פארדינען און טיילן says. Players move through the days of a month collecting, spending and giving.
The board is laid out like a calendar with Yiddish weekday headers and numbered days from 1 to 31, dotted with mail, treasure-chest sechar squares and a tzedakah kasse corner. Play money, card decks, pawns and a die appear with it. The box lists 2 to 4 players, ages 8 and up.
