Glass Challah Board, Gold Design #102 with Matching Challah Cover, 16x11

The gold version of #102 is the dressier of the two. Gold artwork sealed under clear glass picks up candlelight from directly above it, and because the design sits below the glass rather than printed across the top, the light hits a smooth plane and spreads instead of catching on texture. It reads warm on a white cloth and richer still on a darker one.

At 16 by 11 inches this is a full-size board, sized for a pair of challos and the knife beside them rather than a single loaf. The glass surface takes the salt and the crumbs without staining, and a cloth over it at the end of the meal is the whole of the cleanup. It is heavy enough to stay put when the challah is being cut and light enough to carry in from the kitchen already loaded.
