Description
Design #950 layers linen-look texture under clear glass across a full-size board. The weave stays visible and the top stays flat — the design is sealed underneath where the knife, the salt and the wine can never reach it, which is the reason a fabric-backed board can be a weekly piece rather than a display one.
Sixteen by eleven inches is roomy, and it is the size to want if your challos are large. Six-braid challos and long loaves crowd a small board and end up hanging over the edge; at this width a full pair sits properly with the knife alongside and the cover lying flat over the top.
