Description
Deep leather-look grain runs under the glass on design #825. The texture is pronounced — closer to a heavy bound cover than to a smooth finish — and sealing it below a clear top is what keeps that depth visible without exposing the material to a knife, a spill or years of handling.
The board measures 16 by 11 inches, sized for a full pair of challos with the knife alongside. Glass is the practical half of the design: it takes the cutting and the salt and gives it all back to a damp cloth, so a board with this much material underneath can stay in weekly rotation instead of being kept aside for Yom Tov.
