Description
A fine linen weave shows through the glass on design #826. The texture is close and even rather than loose, which keeps it from reading as rustic, and the clear top over it gives the whole face a slight sheen the fabric alone would never have. Quiet enough for a weekly table, dressed enough for a Yom Tov one.
Sixteen by eleven inches is the working surface, which takes two full challos and the knife with border left over. Because it is glass, the board handles the parts of the meal that ruin other boards: the salt, the seeds off the crust, the oil from a hand. All of it comes off with one wipe and none of it reaches the linen.
