Description
Design #105 is a gold pattern, and the glass laid over it is what keeps it looking new. The artwork is protected on the underside of a clear top, so what your hand touches is only glass — no printed surface to wear thin at the spot where the challah always lands, no raised detail for a knife edge to catch on.
Sixteen by eleven inches is the size, and it is the practical part of the story. That is enough surface for two large challos with the knife beside them, which means the board goes straight from the counter to the table already set rather than being loaded once it arrives. Cleanup is a wipe. Nothing absorbs, nothing stains, and it does not need oiling or seasoning the way a wooden board does.
