Description
This magnificent sefer allows readers a visit to eastern Europe right before the tumultuous churban of World War 2. HaRav Shimon Yosef Meller meticulously compiled over 600 pages of correspondence of the Brisker Rav, each signed and validated, spanning forty years. Featured are rare, beautiful, sepia-toned photographs of our greatest leaders - some that have been made public for the first time ever. Along with divrei Torah are responses to individuals who sought the Rav for personal issues. Each letter includes background material, painstakingly accumulated, to help understand the topics discussed. Readers will be astonished by the vast wealth of wisdom and history they hold in their hands. Hebrew only.
