Description
The 6-7 Mesh Kippah is a light gray athletic-mesh yarmulke for boys with an embroidered navy 6-7 graphic, available in 10 sizes for $9.99. The four panels are a pale gray sports mesh with rows of tiny open holes, and the front carries the numbers 6 and 7 in chunky outlined bubble digits. Two cartoon hands, palms up, sit beneath the numbers, all stitched in navy and white. The rim is a gray band of the same mesh. Sold by Judaica Square, shipping from Lakewood, NJ.

Best for
- Boys who love the 6-7 trend and want it on their kippah
- Camp, recess and sports, since mesh lets heat escape
- Clip sizes for boys whose kippah slides off while running
- A fun gift for a boy in the 6-to-7 age range
Not the right choice if
- You want a kippah for a formal shul or simcha
- You want a plain kippah without a slogan or graphic
- You need a flat size larger than 18cm
- The joke has already worn out in your house
Why customers choose it
The 6-7 craze has taken over schoolyards, and this puts it on a kippah boys will actually want to wear. The navy numbers and hands are crisp against light gray, and mesh keeps it cool through a hot camp day. Clip versions of the 16cm and 18cm flats help it stay put during sports.

Frequently asked questions
What does the 6-7 design show?
The numbers 6 and 7 in thick outlined bubble digits, with two open cartoon hands underneath, embroidered in navy on the front panel.
Is mesh comfortable in the heat?
Yes. The open-hole athletic mesh lets air through far more than cotton or velvet, which is why it suits camp and sports.
What do the clip sizes mean?
The 16cm and 18cm flat sizes are also offered with clips sewn in, so the kippah grips the hair and stays on while a boy runs.
How is this different from the 6-7 jersey kippah?
The jersey version uses a smooth, closed cotton knit. This one is open mesh, lighter and airier for summer.
Can it be washed?
Rinse by hand or spot clean in cool water, then let it dry flat so the mesh keeps its shape.
