Description
The Brown Gray Box Plaid Kippah is a slate grey-blue suiting yarmulke with rust-brown plaid lines, made in 10 sizes and priced at $9.99. The ground is a cool, heathered grey with a blue cast, and rust-brown, navy and cream lines cross it to form a regular box plaid. From above, the four panels meet in a cross. The rim is a band of the same plaid. Sold by Judaica Square, shipping from Lakewood, NJ.

How this compares
| Kippah | Material | Season / weight | Formality | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Box Plaid – Brown Gray (this one) | Grey suiting | Autumn and winter | Smart casual | A grey plaid warmed by rust |
| Box Plaid Kippah – Brown Blue Suiting Yarmulke | Brown suiting | Autumn and winter | Smart casual | The reverse balance: a brown ground with blue lines |
| Dark Box Plaid Kippah – Light Gray Suiting Yarmulke | Grey suiting | Autumn and winter | Smart | An all-grey plaid with no brown |
Best for
- Grey suits with brown shoes
- Navy blazers and grey trousers
- Men who want a cooler plaid with a little warmth
- Winter weekdays
Not the right choice if
- You want a mostly brown kippah; grey dominates this one
- A black-only requirement
- Summer wear
- A flat larger than 20cm
Why customers choose it
Grey leads here: a slate, slightly blue heather with rust-brown and navy lines. That balance suits the classic grey-suit-with-brown-shoes look. It is the cooler counterpart to the brown-and-blue box plaid.
