Description
The Jewish & Proud Kippah is a linen-look yarmulke embroidered with the words JEWISH & PROUD, offered in navy or charcoal grey in 9 sizes at $9.99. The phrase is stitched in rounded, hand-lettered capitals in a pale silver-white thread, running in one line across the lower part of the front panel, just above the rim. The fabric has a fine slub weave that gives it a relaxed, linen-like look, and the rim is a matching band in the same colour. There is no other decoration, so the words are the whole design. Sold by Judaica Square, shipping from Lakewood, NJ.

Best for
- Showing Jewish pride at school, work or on the street
- A gift for a boy starting to wear a kippah in public
- Solidarity events and parades
- Navy or grey outfits, where the colours match
Not the right choice if
- A shul or school that prefers kippot without writing
- You want a Hebrew phrase rather than English
- A dressy velvet look
- You want the message hidden; it is readable from a distance
Why customers choose it
Jewish & Proud is a sing-along chorus, and the kippah is just as upfront: two words and an ampersand, clearly readable. Keeping the fabric plain and the lettering silver-white makes it look deliberate rather than loud. Navy and charcoal are both easy colours to wear daily. It gives a boy a simple way to wear his identity with confidence, at school or at a ball game.
