Not the right choice if

- Skull-and-crossbones imagery is not welcome in his school
Why customers choose it
Kids' kippot live or die by whether the child actually wants to wear them, and pirate gear is an easy win. The print is packed with small things to find, from compasses to hooks to 'Arrr!', and the black background hides everyday dirt far better than a white novelty kippah. It doubles as a finishing touch for a Purim pirate costume.
Size guide

| 1 | Toddler, roughly 2–3 years |
| 2 | Young child, roughly 4–5 years |

Sizing is guidance, not a promise — heads vary. When you are between two sizes, the larger one sits better.
Frequently asked questions
What is printed on the pirate kippah?
Pirate ships with skull flags, crossed bones, anchors, compasses, spyglasses, swords, hooks, bandanas, treasure maps, crowns and the words YOHOHO and Arrr! on a black background.
Is it good for a Purim costume?
Yes. It pairs naturally with a pirate costume and is often bought for Purim, though it is designed for year-round wear too.
Which size fits a five-year-old?
Size 2 is typical for roughly 4 to 5 years, and size 3 for 6 to 7. Measure against a kippah he already wears if you can.
Will the black background show dirt?
Much less than a light kippah. Spot clean with a damp cloth and let it dry flat.
Are there skulls on it?
Yes, small cartoon skull-and-crossbones appear on the flags and as standalone motifs. They are drawn in a friendly style, not a scary one.
