Silver Squares Kippah, Cream Metallic Brocade Yarmulke

The Silver Squares Kippah is a cream and silver metallic brocade yarmulke with a block pattern, available in 6 sizes at $9.99. Rows of slightly irregular squares in pewter, gray and bright silver are woven onto a pale cream ground, each block with its own streaked texture, so the crown resembles a wall of cut stones. The four panels meet at the top in a neat cross and the rim is a cream and silver edge. Sold by Judaica Square, shipping nationwide.

How this compares

Best for

• Daytime weddings and bar mitzvahs with light gray suits
• Summer simchas where black-based brocade feels heavy
• A man who likes silver but wants it softened by cream
• Boys and men from size 1 to size 6

Not the right choice if

• You need a flat-cut size; only numbered sizes are offered
• You want a dark kippah
• You want a washable everyday kippah
• You prefer a smooth, unpatterned surface

Why customers choose it

Most silver kippot sit on black. This one sits on cream, which makes it lighter and easier to wear in daylight and with gray or beige suits. The square blocks give a structured, architectural pattern that reads as tailored rather than flashy, and the mix of pewter and bright silver keeps it interesting up close.

Size guide

Sizing is guidance, not a promise — heads vary. When you are between two sizes, the larger one sits better.

Frequently asked questions

What colour is the background?
A pale cream. The squares on top are pewter, gray and bright silver, so overall it reads as light silver.

Does the pattern look like the Kotel?
Many people see stone blocks in it. The rows of streaked, irregular squares do suggest a wall of cut stone, though it is simply a woven block pattern.

Is there a flat size?
No. This design comes in numbered sizes 1 to 6 only.

How does it compare to Silver Dots?
Silver Dots has a silver base with black hexagons, so it is darker and higher contrast. Silver Squares is paler and softer.

Is this kippah suitable for a boy's bar mitzvah?
Yes. It is dressy and photographs well, and size 5 fits most thirteen-year-olds.
