Description
A personal mirror in bronze leather, measuring 4" x 3.5" — small enough to live permanently in the pocket of a tefillin bag and thin enough that you forget it is there. The bronze leather has a warm, metallic cast to it that sits well against brown and black bags alike.
The use is straightforward and daily: checking that the shel rosh is centred and that the knot sits where it should at the back of the head. Most men learn to do it by feel eventually, but a mirror settles the question in a second, and it is far better than turning to ask the man next to you every morning. In a shul without a mirror by the door, or when you are davening somewhere unfamiliar, it becomes the thing you are glad you packed.
