Description
With the wide-ranging commentary, Simchas Mordechai by HaRav Moshe Chaim Shlanger. Mesillas Yesharim is renowned as one of the most distinguished works on mussar, giving guidance on serving Hashem. It is also universally accepted for its emphasis on emunah and on the greatness of Klal Yisrael. The Vilna Gaon saw the Mesillas Yesharim as bringing new light to this world, revealing fathomless depths of wisdom and clarity. Its structured, step-by-step approach to spiritual growth is based on the braisah of Rabi Pinchas ben Yair and brings the “oved Hashem” from the middah of zehirus, watchfulness, to the middah of kedushah, holiness. This vowelized and well-annotated edition has source material and shoulder captions. The commentary weaves together explanation of the “pashut” text with the deeper passages and also includes comprehensive indices, by source and by topic. Hebrew Only
