Stories for the first precious steps in Torah

There are moments that a child remembers forever.
Special days that marked important milestones.
The day a child received his first Chumash, for example.
The first time he planted a kiss on the holy Chumash.
The moment he was embraced by Mommy, Tatty, Bubby, and Zaidy, who all rejoiced with him.
The moment he understood that the most precious treasure in the world is the holy Torah.
The moment a golden crown was placed on his head, and he felt so big and important.

It is this precious moment that we want to immortalize.
To talk about it, value it, and give it the attention it deserves.
To connect the child’s pure heart to the Torah with bonds of love and joy.
To give him the sense that he is part of the Chosen People.
To uplift and inspire him.
Because Hashem has chosen him to receive the gift of Torah.

The goal of this book is to instill the child with a love for Torah and fill him with excitement as he receives his first Chumash and embarks on the lifelong task of learning it.
Through these stories, drawn from the lives of pure Jewish children, he will internalize his own greatness in the eyes of Hashem and the tremendous joy in beginning to learn Chumash.
