Description
A wooden pendant, cut either as a hamsa or as a six-pointed Jewish star, is hand-painted in bands of color and hung from a 20-inch canvas rope with a lobster claw clasp. The paint goes on one piece at a time, so the order and thickness of the color stripes differ from necklace to necklace.
This reads as a statement piece rather than fine jewelry, good over a plain top, and light enough on the neck to keep on all day. Twenty combinations of shape and color are made, from beige and white through red, orange and blue.
