Description
Blue glass cabochons and Swarovski crystals are set like tilework across a hamsa pendant three-quarters of an inch tall, a Michal Golan piece from her New York studio, worked in 24k gold electroplated over brass. The chain adjusts anywhere from 16 to 20 inches.
The hamsa, the hand of Miriam, has been worn for generations as a guard against the evil eye and a wish for good health and good fortune. This one is small enough to layer under a longer chain and plain enough to wear on a weekday rather than save for simchos, which is why it does well as a bat mitzvah gift.
