Description
Grey with silver, square at 4.5 by 4.5 inches, 64 pages. The grey is a mid tone rather than a charcoal, and the silver work sits on top of it: a cool, quiet cover that was clearly designed with a simcha table in mind rather than a bookcase.
Inside it holds kiddush and the zemiros for Friday night and Shabbos day, seder havdalah, birchas hamazon, sheva brachos and al hamichya. Ashkenaz or Eduth Mizrach is the single choice to make. Having sheva brachos and al hamichya bound into the booklet is what makes it usable at an aufruf or a sheva brachos without a separate printed sheet at every setting.
The same booklet is produced in peach and in white with silver, which is how most people approach it: pick the colour that answers the linen and order the quantity the table needs. Grey is the one to take when the cloth is white and you want the booklets read as a deliberate contrast rather than disappearing into the setting entirely.
